About Us
Campbelltown Bangla School was founded in 1999 with a deep commitment to preserving and promoting the Bangla language and culture among children growing up in the diaspora. Inspired by the profound emotional and historical significance of the mother tongue, a group of dedicated language enthusiasts in the local community came together to create a space where future generations could stay connected to their linguistic and cultural heritage.
In its early years, the school operated from various rented community halls. Following its official registration in 2001, all activities have been conducted at The Grange Public School in Minto, providing a stable and welcoming environment for students and families.
Since its establishment, Campbelltown Bangla School has remained devoted to fostering a love for the Bangla language through structured learning and cultural engagement. As the longest-running Bangla school in Sydney and across Australia, we take pride in our role as a cornerstone of the community, helping young learners develop not only language skills but also a strong sense of identity and belonging.
